A huge fan and collector of movie soundtracks, Jonathan Ross fills Friday nights with brilliant film music. Classic FM at the Movies is packed with cinema’s most iconic scores, from John Williams, Ennio Morricone and Nino Rota, to Hans Zimmer, Rachel Portman and Alexandre Desplat.
On Saturday evenings, join Jonathan as he takes a deep dive into the soundtracks of recent releases and some of his own personal favourites, and features occasional interview with stars of the silver screen – all alongside much of the movie music you know and love.

Jonathan features the classic movie favourites Casablanca by Herman Hupfeld and Breakfast at Tiffany’s by Henry Mancini. He also selects some of his favourite pieces from the wizarding world, including James Newton Howard's score to Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and a Harry Potter double-bill by John Williams and Patrick Doyle, respectively. Jonathan also shares some new releases including the Italian blockbuster hit C'è ancora domani scored by Lele Marchitelli and a new recording of the award-winning The Boy and the Heron by Joe Hisaishi.
