From Andrew Lloyd Webber to a random ice cream van man, these musicians all know it’s coming home.

Over the last couple of weeks, the population of England has been deafened with interminable chants of ‘It’s Coming Home’.

It is now the UK No. 1 single, as well as one of the most covered songs on social media. Here are some of our favourites…

  1. Bands of the Guards Division

    Here’s a very regal interpretation of ‘It’s Coming Home’, played by the Bands of the Guards Division on the forecourt of Buckingham Palace. It’s big and brassy, with a great sense of duty and honour.

  2. Andrew Lloyd Webber

    Next to out themselves as Skinner and Baddiel stans were Andrew Lloyd Webber and his duet partner, who posted this insane key change-filled piano interpretation over the weekend. It’s a real head-bobber.

  3. This gorgeous harp arrangement

    This is really quite lovely. Harpist Oliver Cope posted a gorgeous arrangement of ‘Three Lions’, with a fancy flourish at the end. That descending bass line never sounded so good…

  4. A cello cover

    Created by the Facebook page It’s Coming Home, here’s a rather emotional dubbing of the Royal wedding cellist’s performance – except this time, James Corden, David Beckham et al are enjoying a beautifully lyrical interpretation of ‘Three Lions’.

  5. A lovely choral arrangement

    This is the closest the internet has got to a full cover: Norwich Cathedral Choir’s lovely choral arrangement of the whole track, complete with some lovely ‘aaahhh’s. We’re big fans.

    On Sunday, someone posted this video of an ice cream van having a bit of fun with the tune. Gareth Southgate would be so proud…
