This visualisation of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata is REALLY intense

The spectacular final movement of Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata, played with a reactive visualiser. This is stunning.

The third movement to Beethoven’s ‘Moonlight’ Sonata (No. 14 in C sharp minor) has been given the visual treatment with this stunning LED light display.

Marked presto agitato, the movement is known for its fiendish runs and ornamentation, and is a tough one for even the most virtuosic pianists to master.

Rousseau, a YouTuber and pianist, created the video by playing with a reactive visualiser, a digital tool used to create beautiful live music visuals.

It’s super intense, and really beautiful.
