The amazing Chinese pianist completely brought the house down with this Strauss transcription

Yuja Wang is one of the world’s best pianists and is well known for her virtuosic performances of music from Mozart to Tchaikovksy.

So it’s no surprise that her encores are actually jaw-dropping.

At one of her performances at the Verbier Festival – and filmed by medici.tv – she finished the evening with a frankly ridiculous transcription of Johann Strauss II’s Tritsch Tratsch Polka.
